About
A free open-air Viking-themed market held in the historic Mazijk quarter of Wijk bij Duurstede, near the site of Dorestad, one of early medieval Europe's largest trading settlements. Costumed interpreters demonstrate Viking-age crafts, combat and daily life alongside a market of handcrafted goods, food and jewellery.

Getting there
Free market on the Mazijk, a riverside green space by the historic Stadshaven/Stadswalpoort in Wijk bij Duurstede, both days 11:00-16:00. Wheelchair accessible, food and drink on site, reachable on foot or by bicycle from the town centre. No organiser-published parking or rail advice; nearest mainline station is elsewhere in the region and not specified by the organiser.
