The ruined 12th-century Cistercian abbey at Villers-la-Ville hosts a two-day medieval festival with more than 300 reenactors, an archery tournament of around 100 archers, craft demonstrations and a themed programme spanning medieval monastic life through to the Burgundian court of Mary of Burgundy.
