An annual Second Empire festival in Vichy, the spa town whose development Napoleon III personally championed. Around 300 costumed performers stage parades, a grand ball, period dance demonstrations, carriage rides and theatrical guided tours across the town's parks and imperial-era buildings, recreating the balls, promenades and dinners of Napoleon III and Empress Eugénie's court. Described by organisers as one of France's largest historical reenactments.
