Valhalla Days — Ciney
The last edition has finished and the organiser has not yet published dates for the next one. Going by previous years, expect it around late September 2027 — but that is our projection, not an announcement, and nothing is settled until the organiser publishes the dates. Check with the organiser before you travel: valhalladays.be.
About
An annual Viking encampment and market staged in Ciney's Parc Saint Roch (Château Saint Roch), bringing together reenactment groups — currently listed by the organiser as Les couloirs du temps, La Gildi Nordraddar and Les amis de la forge du dragon — for craft demonstrations (forging, weaving, storytelling), archery, axe-throwing and combat displays, falconry, and mounted/horse shows. The 2026 programme's featured ceremony is a reconstructed Viking funeral; a wedding ceremony is also advertised but is already sold out.
Programme
The programme for the next edition hasn’t been published yet. It goes up here as soon as the organiser releases it.
