About
Each August, the 13th-century bastide town of Monflanquin in Lot-et-Garonne turns its streets and squares over to some 116 performers from 14 companies for a day of mounted knight tournaments, staged combat, troubadours, fire-breathers and jugglers. Organised by the Groupe Expression Monflanquin (GEM), the 2026 edition (its 34th) ran across two days, 15-16 August; GEM's own site already frames it as an annual mid-August fixture without yet publishing exact 2027 hours.
