Medieval Turku
Known locally as Keskiajan Turku
About
An open-air medieval living-history event held annually in Turku's Old Great Square (with additional programming at Turku Castle, Turku Cathedral and the Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova Museum), running since 1996 and now one of Finland's largest summer events. Costumed reenactors, craftspeople and living-history performers recreate medieval town life; the organiser markets it as Finland's largest medieval and historical event.
