About
An annual two-day historical re-enactment and living-history event at the Ligny 1815 Museum site in Sombreffe, commemorating Napoleon's victory over the Prussians at the Battle of Ligny on 16 June 1815 — his last won battle. Running since 1965, it features a historical village, bivouac encampments and a staged battle reconstruction, organised jointly by the local tourist office, the Ligny 1815 Museum and an affiliated reenactment regiment.
