Kentwell Hall — Tudor Michaelmas Weekend

Costumed interpreters present Tudor-society living history at Kentwell Hall to mark Michaelmas, part of the hall's recurring annual programme of named Tudor events.

Kentwell Hall is off the A134 between Sudbury and Bury St Edmunds, in Long Melford, Suffolk (CO10 9BA), with free on-site visitor parking. The nearest railway station is Sudbury, about three miles away on the Greater Anglia branch line from Marks Tey; there is no organiser-run shuttle, so onward travel is by local bus toward Long Melford or by taxi. For the Michaelmas Weekend the gardens open 11:00-17:00 and the house 11:00-16:00 on both the Saturday and the Sunday. Advance online ticket prices were not published at the time of writing; paying at the gate costs GBP2 more than booking ahead.
