Kentwell Hall — Tudor High Summer: Hands on History
About
Interactive, hands-on Tudor-era living history for visitors across Kentwell Hall's moated manor and gardens in Long Melford, Suffolk, part of the hall's annual sequence of named Tudor events.
Getting there
Kentwell Hall sits off the A134 between Sudbury and Bury St Edmunds in Long Melford, Suffolk (CO10 9BA), with free visitor parking on site. The nearest railway station, Sudbury, is about three miles away on the Greater Anglia branch line from Marks Tey; Kentwell runs no shuttle, so the final leg is by local bus or taxi. For Tudor High Summer the gardens are open 11:00-17:00 and the house 11:00-16:00 daily through 23 August. Kentwell's own site does not publish this event's ticket prices; across its named event weekends, paying at the gate typically costs GBP2 more than booking online in advance.
