About

A large medieval-and-Renaissance festival held over the August bank holiday weekend at Pippingford Park in the East Sussex countryside, combining jousting knights, historic military encampments with cannon demonstrations, multiple entertainment stages, craft traders and camping/glamping, billed as one of the UK's most established events of its kind.

Getting there

The King's Grove, Pippingford Park, East Sussex (TN22 3HW), about 20 miles north of Brighton and Eastbourne and 30 miles south of London, with AA road signs marking the approach roads. East Grinstead is the nearest station (about 20 minutes away); the organiser runs shuttle buses to and from East Grinstead station each way, with 2026 booking details to be announced. Royal Tunbridge Wells and Uckfield stations also serve the area. On-site parking covers General, VIP, Blue Badge and coach vehicles, but day-visitor cars may not be left overnight. Day and weekend tickets are on sale via the festival's own ticket page; exact 2026 prices had not been published as of this run.
