Eisenhower Farm World War II Weekend
The last edition has finished and the organiser has not yet published dates for the next one. Going by previous years, expect it around mid September 2027 — but that is our projection, not an announcement, and nothing is settled until the organiser publishes the dates. Check with the organiser before you travel: nps.gov.
About
The National Park Service's free annual living-history weekend at the Eisenhower National Historic Site, the former president's farm adjoining the Gettysburg battlefield. The 28th edition combines a WW2-era encampment, ranger-led tours of the Eisenhower farmhouse, guest speakers and family programming, with the 2026 theme deliberately linking the Second World War to the American Revolution for its 250th anniversary.
Programme
The programme for the next edition hasn’t been published yet. It goes up here as soon as the organiser releases it.
Getting there
Entirely free — there is no entrance fee for any WWII Weekend programming. Saturday 19 September runs 09:00–17:00 and Sunday 20 September 09:00–15:00; the site is closed to visitors on Friday 18 September, when programming moves off-site into Gettysburg town. Free on-site parking for passenger vehicles is available all weekend, weather permitting; there is no public transport link to the farm.
