English Civil War Society — Newport Pagnell Muster

The English Civil War Society's major end-of-season muster, held over the August Bank Holiday weekend at Newport Pagnell. Free to attend, with military drill, civilian living history and a large-scale battle display each afternoon involving pike, musket, cavalry and artillery.

Newport Pagnell has no railway station of its own (closed since 1964); the nearest stations are Milton Keynes Central (approx. 5.5 miles) and Wolverton (approx. 4.5 miles), both requiring a bus or taxi rather than a walk — local buses (routes 2, 21 and C10) serve the town from Milton Keynes. No published opening or gate times were found for the 2026 edition.
