English Civil War Society — Basing House
About
The English Civil War Society's own muster at Basing House, distinct from the Sealed Knot's separate event at the same site — the two societies hold independently organised weekends there on different dates.

Getting there
Basing House is on Redbridge Lane / Bartons Lane in Old Basing, Basingstoke (RG24 8AE), a short walk or drive from the town centre. Basingstoke railway station is on the South Western main line (about 45 minutes from London Waterloo); the walk out via the Basing Trail through Eastrop Park takes roughly 40 minutes, or it's a short taxi or local bus ride. A free car park sits off Barton's Lane (only accessible-badge parking is available directly outside the visitor centre). The site's own standard admission is GBP11 adult / GBP10 concession / GBP8 child (family GBP36.75, under-5s free), normally open 11:00-16:00 - the English Civil War Society has not published a separate price or exact times for its own muster weekend on its event list, so confirm directly with ecws.org.uk or Basing House before travelling.
