The last edition has finished and the organiser has not yet published dates for the next one. About

Annual costumed living-history event in San Fernando (Cádiz), organised by the Fundación Legado de las Cortes with the Ayuntamiento de San Fernando, commemorating the defence of the Real Isla de León against the French siege of Cádiz (1810-1812) and the establishment there of Spain's extraordinary Cortes in 1810, whose 216th anniversary this marks. The 2026 edition is the 20th. Activities include participants in historical uniforms, guided tours, cannon-fire demonstrations, and drum processions.

Programme

The programme for the next edition hasn’t been published yet. It goes up here as soon as the organiser releases it.

Getting there

Activities are spread across the Baluarte del Puente Suazo and the Colegio-Convento de la Compañía de María (Calle Real 142), with a procession along Calle Real to Plaza del Rey. Free to attend throughout; no parking or public-transport guidance is published by the organiser.
