Tsuiki Air Base Air Festival

Tsuiki Air Base in northern Kyushu flies the F-2, the Japanese-developed derivative of the F-16, and its air festival is one of the few places to see the type demonstrated in numbers. The base sits on the coast of the Suo Sea in Fukuoka prefecture, and the display is flown partly over the water.

As of 14 October 2026 the base had not yet published the festival's opening hours, admission terms, station or shuttle arrangements, entrances or prohibited items, so check the base's notices again closer to the date. The only logistics notice so far concerns the base's 'Magokoro' parking area, which is allocated by advance application from 1 to 26 October 2026 (a postmark on the deadline day is accepted), with a lottery if applications exceed the spaces; enquiries go to the base's public affairs office.
