Going by previous years, expect it around mid September 2027 — but that is our projection, not an announcement, and nothing is settled until the organiser publishes the dates. About
Held since 1953 at the US Navy's East Coast master jet base at Virginia Beach, the NAS Oceana Air Show is the largest air show on the American east coast and typically draws between a quarter and three hundred thousand visitors. The programme pairs Navy fighter demonstrations flown by aircraft based at the field with civilian aerobatic acts and warbirds from the nearby Military Aviation Museum. Admission and parking are free, and a practice day for local schoolchildren is normally held on the Friday before the public weekend.

Getting there
NAS Oceana, Virginia Beach, Virginia. Free admission and free parking both days; gates open 8am, flying begins around 10:20am and continues to about 4pm or later. All visitors 18+ need a physical photo ID (REAL ID preferred but not mandatory); foreign nationals must present a physical passport and expect extra screening. There is no dedicated shuttle service — free shuttle buses run intermittently from remote lots but are not wheelchair accessible; upgraded/reserved seating can be purchased separately.
