Hyakuri Air Base 60th Anniversary Air Festival

A special edition of the Hyakuri air festival marking sixty years since the base opened. Hyakuri in Ibaraki prefecture is the closest fighter base to Tokyo and shares its runway with Ibaraki Airport, and it flies F-2 aircraft alongside reconnaissance and rescue units. Anniversary editions of Japanese air festivals normally bring extra participating units and commemorative markings, so this is likely to be a fuller programme than the base's usual open day.
