Duxford Flying Finale
The last edition has finished and the organiser has not yet published dates for the next one. Going by previous years, expect it around early October 2027 — but that is our projection, not an announcement, and nothing is settled until the organiser publishes the dates. Check with the organiser before you travel: n2009837.websitebuilder.online.
About
The Duxford Flying Finale is IWM Duxford's last flying display of the year, closing out the museum's 2026 flying season with a single day of vintage and warbird aircraft over the former Battle of Britain fighter station in Cambridgeshire. It draws on Duxford's own resident aircraft collection alongside visiting warbirds for a farewell display before the site's flying calendar pauses for the winter.
Programme
The programme for the next edition hasn’t been published yet. It goes up here as soon as the organiser releases it.
Getting there
Nearest mainline station is Cambridge; unlike IWM Duxford's bigger summer air shows, the organiser runs no shuttle bus for the Flying Finale, so onward travel is by taxi, local bus, or the roughly 30-minute walk from Whittlesford Parkway station (via the A505, not recommended for young children or reduced mobility). On-site parking is available and does not need to be pre-booked for this event. Gates open 10:00-18:00; advance tickets only, none sold on the day either online or at the gate. Adult GBP41.50, child (5-15) GBP20.75, 10% off for IWM members.
