Duxford Battle of Britain Air Show
The last edition has finished and the organiser has not yet published dates for the next one. Going by previous years, expect it around mid September 2027 — but that is our projection, not an announcement, and nothing is settled until the organiser publishes the dates. Check with the organiser before you travel: iwm.org.uk.
About
IWM Duxford's September set-piece air show stages historic Battle of Britain-era fighters — Spitfires and Hurricanes flown together in the museum's signature 'Big Wing' mass formation — alongside contemporary display teams such as the Red Arrows, at the former RAF fighter station that is now the Imperial War Museum's flagship airfield in Cambridgeshire. The show leans into living history, with 1940s dress encouraged among visitors, set against Duxford's preserved wartime hangars and aircraft collections.
Programme
The programme for the next edition hasn’t been published yet. It goes up here as soon as the organiser releases it.
