Canadian International Air Show (77th)

North America's longest-running air show, flown over Lake Ontario off Toronto's waterfront on the Labour Day weekend as the closing act of the Canadian National Exhibition. The 77th edition is billed as the last chance to see the Canadian Forces Snowbirds before the team pauses operations at the end of the 2026 season, ending fifty-five years of Snowbirds displays over the city. The programme also brings the USAF F-16 Viper demonstration team, the RCAF CF-18 Hornet demonstration, the debut of the Jack Aces formation team flying three restored P-51 Mustangs, and the Pink Jet, an L-39 Albatros flown in support of breast cancer awareness.

The Exclusive Air Show Zone is at 1095 Lake Shore Blvd West, in Marilyn Bell Park across from the Liberty Grand building. Green P lot #855, near the OVO Athletic Centre, is the closest paid parking at about 10 minutes' walk; Ontario Place parking is about 20 minutes' walk. The organiser recommends transit given road changes around the show: GO Transit to Exhibition Place, TTC, or Wheel-Trans. Much of the display is visible free from the Canadian National Exhibition grounds and other spots along the lakeshore (without narration), and the STEM Zone is free and open 10:00-16:00 on all three show days without a ticket. The organiser's own site has not published this year's Exclusive Air Show Zone ticket price at the time of writing.
