AERO Gatineau-Ottawa

The air show of Canada's capital region, now in its ninth edition, held at Gatineau-Ottawa Executive Airport about twenty kilometres east of downtown Ottawa and run in partnership with Vintage Wings of Canada, which gives the event an unusually strong heritage flavour. Friday is a shorter twilight programme closing with a drone light show; Saturday and Sunday carry the full display from midday until around half past four, with the Canadian Forces Snowbirds flying on all three days alongside the RCAF CF-18 Hornet tactical demonstration and the Canadian Armed Forces SkyHawks parachute team. More than sixty aircraft are open on the ground, with pilots present.

AERO Gatineau-Ottawa is held at 1717 rue Arthur-Fecteau, Gatineau, QC J8R 2Z9 (off Highway 50, Exit 154), about 20km east of downtown Ottawa. Friday is a shorter twilight programme closing with a drone light show; Saturday and Sunday run the full flying display from around noon to 16:30. General admission (online only) starts at CAD $59.95 for a single adult day pass (military/veteran CAD $44.95, youth 5-12 CAD $19.95, family CAD $129.95, under-5s free); Photo Pit and Flightline Club upgrades are CAD $199.95, and 3-day passes start at CAD $525. RV parking is not permitted this year; other parking and shuttle arrangements had not been published by the organiser as of this run.
